| EDUCATION DESCRIPTION |
A
satellite campus of Mesa State College is located in Montrose
and offers Associates and Bachelor's degrees in selected disciplines,
as well as some advanced degrees. Mesa State College is based
in Grand Junction. Mesa State-Montrose works closely with
the RE-1J school district to enable qualified Montrose High
School students to pursue college level studies at the Mesa
State Montrose campus as a part of the individual's academic
plan.
Delta-Montrose
Vo-Tech offers vocational programs approved by the Colorado
Community College and Occupational Education System and the
State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education.
The Center is accredited by the North Central Association
of Secondary Schools and Colleges. The Center provides occupational
certificate programs and courses in health, trades, technical
and business fields at a secondary, post-secondary and adult
level. Programs are designed to train students at the entry
level for employment, or to provide re-training, or to upgrade
the employability skills of students.
